Dersin Amacı

The objective of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of technical terminology, fundamental civil engineering principles, applications, and problem-solving methods. Covering the significance of the civil engineering profession, its various disciplines, and ethical guidelines, the course introduces students to the roles and responsibilities of engineers, as well as the ethical, environmental, and societal issues that shape the field.

This course aims to provide knowledge on fundamental topics and application areas of civil engineering, the importance of teamwork and collaboration with other professional groups that civil engineers work with, engineering awareness, societal benefit, and engineering awareness, as well as the development of skills.
